If you’ve been following CHIC A LA’ RUSSE for a while now, you’ll know that seeing me in a pair of jeans is quite rare (I believe I counted 1,2,3…) but since this look was shot in THE land of jeans, I felt somewhat of an obligation to rock a look that will be anything but sadly casual, and let me explain. Every time I come to Israel, I am completely blown away by the amount of women wearing ONLY jeans (and I don’t mean it in as going topless…). I bet the jean companies are making a killing, but ladies! There are so many ways of presenting yourselves to the world that do not include low-cut Diesel’s (who knew they still make these!)… But hey, it’s just me and my tiny revolution, assisted by sequins and fur…

Nautically Green

I am currently head over heels in love with this jacket. I found it mid August in a thrift store in a completely new state and despite the heat I knew I had to have it. It has a more “mature” look to it (which is kinda cool, since it’s, well, very green) so I paired it with a studded belt, a pair of jeans and some stripes to “spice it up” ! Feeling quite CHIC I was rather pleased, saying hurrah to finding winter bargains in the peak of the summer!

Oh, and I almost forgot, my weekly apology for my becoming oh so rare communication, rest assured I do have an abundance of excuses under my belt! If you remember, I recently decided to relocate and to upgrade my accomodations…So, at the moment I’m in the heart of the search, and today I met two of the sweetest girls that might just end up being my CHIC roommates! No really, they are both quite impressive and really genuine people… As I said today, maybe , just maybe this time everything will simply work out! I mean, why not? And although my computer was so unfortunately attacked (!!!) by a virus yesterday and since then operation V E R Y slow (hence the only photo for this post, I gave up after the third attempt, the rest will be posted tomorrow, promise!), things are looking up!

And now, I shall retire, with my mind overflowing with glamorous names of renowned past actresses that I will hopefully remember for tomorrows test. (Do I see another old Hollywood glam post coming up?)
